Build and send a quote

A quote turns inspection findings into priced work the customer can approve from their phone.

  1. Open the repair order and start a quote. Pull in inspection findings as recommendations.
  2. Add labour, parts, and a supplier where needed. Each line shows its total.
  3. Review the quote, then send it by text message.
  4. The customer opens a secure link and approves the items they want.

Each recommendation becomes a priced line the customer can read at a glance, with its total shown inclusive of tax:

A sent quote is locked

When you send a quote, Openhood snapshots exactly what the customer saw. To change it, undo back to draft first. This keeps the approved record honest.

Customer replies never apply themselves. An SMS reply is staged for you to confirm before anything changes.
