For technicians

Everything here works on a phone with one hand. Work through it in order.

1. Get into the app. Sign in with a one-time access pass from your advisor or lead. See Using the technician app.
2. Run an inspection. Work the template, set severity, and attach photos or video as evidence. See Record findings with evidence.
3. Use voice to save typing. Dictate findings and notes. Openhood types a draft for you to confirm. It never speaks back and never sends anything on its own. See Using the voice assistant.
4. Work the job card. Claim a job, log labour time, fit parts, and record what you carried out. See Work a job card and Add parts to a job.
5. Finish clean. Run the QC check before handover. See QC checks before handover.
